I’m getting the below error when running my robot. I’ve clicked yes and installed the .net framework for 6.0.36, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled all .net frameworks, and I’ve reinstalled assistant. Is there anything else to try?
Did you happen to restart after the installation
Also reinstalling the robot might help
Cheers
Hi @jholliday
Pls restart the machine after updating the .NET
Or You can uninstall the UiPath and reinstall with choose Quick installation.

Happy Automation
I did restart after installing .NET. Installation does not fail for the robot or .NET; it is specifically relating to this process I am running. I am able to run a Hello World process just fine.
UiPath.SmartData.OutOfProcessUi.Host.exe is usually part of UiPath.IntelligentOCR.Activities package.
- Are you using a Document Understanding process or template in it?
- What is the Robot/Studio version? Can you upgrade to the latest patch?
- Can you open the impacted project in Studio, upgrade the dependencies (using this feed https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/uipath/Public.Feeds/_packaging/UiPath-Official/nuget/v3/index.json) to their latest versions in the 2023.10.1 or 2023.10.3 or 24.10.1 DU template?
- Do you have any anti-virus thta may block the UiPath exe or dll files?
I am using DU.
Robot is the latest version since I just redownloaded and reinstalled.
I will try upgrading the dependencies.
AV should not be impacting UiPath.
Thanks for the response. I will check back in when I have tested.
Forgot to follow up. Upgrading dependencies did resolve this issue.
