Uipath Screenplay

Does UiPath Screenplay Activity uses Ai units or Agent units ? If yes, then how many units does it use for each run/call?.

Hello @chandresh_agarwal,

UiPath Screenplay (or Agent activities) uses Agent Units, not AI Units.
Each run or LLM call typically consumes ‘1 Agent Unit’ if you’re using UiPath’s standard models (like GPT-4o or Claude).

@chandresh_agarwal,

It’s still in the preview stage of the release so no concrete answer to this as of now. Let’s wait for the GA and we will get the pricing and consumption details.

Worth noting, that agent units only exist on the Flex plan, which is being discontinued for new customers. Unified Pricing plan uses Platform units.

As for how many units it costs, its going to likely depend on the complexity on the task its doing. If you ask it to do a simple task, like add 2+2 on the windows calculator, it will use far less tokens than if you ask if you ask it to log into a HR system, navigate to your profile and check how much remaining leave hours you have this year as there are far more steps in that.

Since its in preview and quite experimental UiPath have not committed to a pricing strategy yet, so its worth testing it now whilst its free, but not considering it seriously for any business process until the pricing is determined.
