UIPath Assistant Vs Robot

Hi UIPath Experts,

I have gone through documentation however I m having hardtime understanding the different between UIPath Assistant and Robot.

Can we use UIPath Assistant in production env to publish the process in and manually initiate it, or the Assistant is more like a testing tool.
How is Robot different from Assistant.

Hi @yatanveersingh

The UiPath Robot is the underlying service that connects to Orchestrator and does the actual processing. The UiPath Assistant is just the visual application that allows you to control the Robot.
