Training video interface is different from the actual website interface

why is the updated video training web interface different from the actual one. we are asked to do something but we meet an entire different thing on the studio web

Possibly the training was recorded with previous version of studio web, thats why.

Are you trying to use studio web on community edition? if yes, please note anything on community edition will always be the latest version including the preview features unlike the enterprise version where you can choose which version you want to use.

However, there may be some cosmetic differences across closer versions but functionality and features will be almost same, so you should still be able to find your way around in there.

yes, i am using the community edition, studio web. in the training, i learnt that after creating an account, i should click on the admin, then accounts and groups. from here, the account they created is not displayed on this screen while mine is being displayed already, thats 1.

two, from there, we select ‘invite users’ and input an email address. here, they entered the email address they created, while mine says already created.

three, they went to the group section to edit group allocation rule by selecting an icon. that icon and two other icons are not showing on my scree. just 3 dotted lines that shows ‘show more’. and so much more. this is so frustrating

Welcome to UiPath,

The training videos use an older UiPath Cloud UI, while Community edition updates often, so menus and icons look different but features are still available under the new layout. Try to check they are using classic or Modern activities.

The user interface keeps on updating time to time but won’t reflect into the training videos.
