How to remove the green triangle in the top left corner of each cell

Hello
I am currently using StudioX 2024.10.14 LTS with a legacy project.

When outputting a data table scraped from the web using the WriteRange (Workbook) activity, a green triangle appears at the top left of each cell. This did not occur with the WriteRangeX activity. (See the attached image)

Please let me know how to prevent this from appearing, or how to remove the green triangles in bulk after they appear.

I was able to solve it myself.

It seems you can loop through the item with the following settings in the ForEach activity before using WriteRange.

Collection: dt.Columns
Value type of For Each: DataColumn
In the Assign within the Body:

item(i).DataType = GetType(int32)

Doesn’t this cause an error? (Did it actually work?)

The root cause is that the columns extracted from the table are specified as strings, so if those columns are numeric, please adjust the table extraction settings to treat them as numbers. (This might depend on the version of UiAutomation.)

If the column contains a mix of numbers and text, I think you will need to manually construct a DataTable with an Object type column and transfer the data.

I apologize. I posted the answer before trying the code, so I deleted the response.

Since this is not a table extraction case, I can’t use that. I would like to use the approach of creating a DataTable with the Object type dt and copying data from the old dt.

Can I use dt = olddt.CopyToDataTable() for this? Or do I have no choice but to add rows one by one using the Add Data Row activity in a For Each activity?

The answer has been deleted.

I think it’s better not to arbitrarily modify or delete posts that already have responses, as it disrupts the flow of conversation within the topic.

Firstly, I believe the above is not syntactically valid. At the very least, it is necessary to convert what is stored as a string into a numeric value.

If all the column values are numeric, there may be a method like the following using the functionality of the GenerateDataTable activity.
