Hello Everyone,

couple of days we were facing issue in get browser session data activity.

Error: The browser extension you are using is missing the ‘cookies’ permission.

It was working in some of the Machine but in other machine may not.

SOLUTION:

so we have Analysis this Error/Issue and come to know that the issue is related to UiPath Browser Extension when we update it i will start working as expected

please look at the difference in you browser extension Permission

1. paste URL (edge OR chrome)://extensions/
2. find “UiPath Browser Automation” Extension.
3. Click on the details option
   here you may found your browser extension permission.

1. Check Browser Extension Permissions:

• Open your browser (Edge or Chrome).
• Navigate to chrome://extensions/ (for Chrome) or the equivalent for Edge.
• Find the “UiPath Browser Automation” extension and click on the details option.
• Verify the extension’s permissions.

2. Update Browser Extension:

• If you see only 3 permissions for the extension, it indicates that the extension is outdated and missing necessary permissions.
• To update the extension, visit the respective extension store:
  • For Edge Browser:
    • UiPath Web Automation 2021.1 - Microsoft Edge Addons
    • UiPath Browser Automation 23.4 - Microsoft Edge Addons
    • UiPath Web Automation 22.10 - Microsoft Edge Addons
  • For Chrome Browser:
    • UiPath Web Automation 22.4 - Chrome Web Store
    • UiPath Browser Automation 23.4 - Chrome Web Store

3. Install or Update the Extension:

• Click on the respective link for your browser and click “Add to Chrome” or “Add to Edge” to install or update the extension.

4. Restart Browser:

• After updating the extension, restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.
