Starting May 13, 2026, the Software Testing Engineer Professional certification will be renewed to the Test Cloud Architect Professional certification. The certification requirements will remain the same, requiring a pass in the Software Testing Engineer Professional Exam (UiPath-STEPv1_JPN).
Additionally, the Test Cloud Architect Professional certification is planned to be updated to align with the latest testing practices, including:
- Test integration into CI/CD pipelines utilizing UiPath Test Cloud,
- Intelligent test generation and scalable execution,
- Designing enterprise-level governance and cloud-based testing infrastructure.
These updates are aimed at meeting the latest testing practices (details about the timing of the exam content update will be provided as soon as they are finalized).
Existing holders of the Software Testing Engineer Professional certification will be able to retain their certification until the expiration date. The name of the certification they hold will not change. It is recommended to obtain the new certification before the expiration of the current one.
