We wanted to give you an early heads-up about an upcoming update to the Software Testing certification track.
On May 13, 2026, UiPath will launch the new Test Cloud Architect Professional certification, a new credential designed to reflect modern testing practices.
This certification emphasizes:
- Integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines using UiPath Test Cloud
- Intelligent test generation and scalable execution
- Architecting enterprise governance and cloud-based testing ecosystems
Here’s what to expect:
- UiPath-TCAPv1: Test Cloud Architect Professional exam will be released as a qualification exam
- The current Software Testing Engineer Professional certification will be retired
- The Software Testing Engineer Professional exam will still be available until August 15, 2026
- If you pass Software Testing Engineer Professional (UiPath-STEPv1) exam during that time, you’ll qualify for Test Cloud Architect Professional
- If you already hold Software Testing Engineer Professional, your certification remains valid until it expires
- Existing vouchers for STEPv1 can be used for TCAPv1
If you’re currently studying for Software Testing Engineer Professional exam (UiPath-STEPv1), plan to complete it within the transition window.
