Terminal session Error while connecting to IBM EHLLAPI

Hi,

Trying to connect to Main frame application for the first time and it frequently throws

“There was an error connecting to terminal”. I could nt find a solution despite going through the other posts in the forum.

Any insights on this will be helpful…

Steps that i have used:

Start process - To open the Main frame application
Terminal session -
Provider: IBM EHLLAPI
Basic mode enabled

Have you given the profile with address and type right

ibm ehllapi ,with hostname and type is vt
(or)

Existing profile with client application

If this won’t solve your issue, please let me know what type of the terminal emulator are you using.
