I have variables with default values and between debug runs they are set or not.
Cannot reliably trigger the behavior but it happens about every 3-5th execution on my local UiPath Studio “developer machine”.
The version is Studio 2025.0.166 (latest Community version as of time of writing)
No difference if the default value was set in variables panel or data manager.
(And no, it is clean code, no shadow variables or wrong scope or anything. Just a plain “Blank Process” as it ships with that Studio version.)
And a default value got “lost” at some point.
Too bad I cannot find the way to reproduce, so wanted to post here if others are observing the same behavior. I just hope it is only the Studio, not the Robot…
