Selecting "Transpose" in Copy/Paste Range NOT transposing

Hey everyone,

I have an Excel data table that I’m trying to format so that I can paste the table into a JIRA ticket.

Current State: I’m using For Each Row > Copy/Paste Range with Transpose Selected > Paste into a different sheet with the format I want.

The data does get copied and pasted, but it’s not transposed. It just pastes it as a row. Looking for the reasoning as to why transpose is not working despite being selected.

That aside, if you know of another solution to get a table into a JIRA ticket description, I’ll also take that! I can only guess you have to select table from JIRA itself and then enter in data one cell at a time (would be approx 50 steps in that case…)

Please see below image (I know that some of these steps are redundant, was playing around trying to get it to work. I could have both Transposes selected, neither selected, or one or the other and none do it)

Try to select the transponse while copying but not while pasting

Also you can use only one copy paste range and select transponse…that should directly transponse and paste

Hey everyone,

I found the problem last night, the fix was to “Exclude header from source table only”. This gave me the results I was looking for.

Unfortunately working with StudioX, so I don’t believe I have these capabilities. Will keep this in mind once I get a full license :).

I don’t believe I could select transpose only while copying since the activity is “copy/paste range”. I was able to solve the problem though!

What I meant was what you have shown in the latest screenshot…Not to use two copy paste even if we use in the first copy paste select transponse
