Screen Scrape for a Variable

Hi All! I was looking to screen scrape for a variable I created. I know that you are able to screen scrape for a particular word/ number/ group of words, but I am interested in searching for a variable.

Are you looking for text on the application ?

Apologies, I am looking to use the screen scraper wizard to find a predetermined variable that I have created.Ultimately, I was wondering if there was a way I could input my variable in the “text to be found” feature.

Indeed You can. :slight_smile:
I believe your using click text activity.
It’s just click on the text relative element it doesn’t return anything(as your mentioning about scraping text)

After you finish the wizard, look at the Properties tab of the activity. You can change those fields to use a variable instead of text.
