Hi Team, We have previously connected to salesforce through salesforce application scope using consumer key ,consumer secret,username ,password and the server now because of latest changes in salesforce team is asking to use the client credentials auth instead of username and password. Can anyone suggest how can i incorporate the changes without changing the code using salesforce application scope?
You will have to use Integration Services for this. Follow these steps:
Unfortunately salesforce app scope would not aupport tintegration services auth..so you need to redo..or if you have claude or codex or any cli available..then you can use it ao that it replaces with the right integration service activity

Can you try like, before salesforce application scope, use some api to get the access token and that access token pass it in the salesforce. Try if you get through api any secret key or anything that required to pass in salesforce application scope.

If you need to use Client Credentials, you’ll need to migrate to the Salesforce Integration Service activities by creating a Salesforce connection in Orchestrator > Integration Service and replacing the legacy activities.
@yedukondaluaregala Using token will not work itseems because salesforce application scope has default authentication which works on only username and password primarily so using connectors and the activities like get record only working in this case.
@Anil_G i have one more issue here using the get record activity actually i have deal id like 110222373 like this how can i get the data with this i can only the get the data from the url id for that deal not from deal id directly. Any suggestions that i can retreive the data from the deal id only instead of the api for that?
