so i installed the lastest versions to my virtual machines.
Remote debugging works, but…
when i try to do any orchestrator calls i get this exception.
do you know what this issue could be?

Fyi, I see you took the effort to blur out some personal info, but your Orchestrator URL and email address is visible.
As for the issue.
Its complaining related to the folder, however thats odd since you did seem to specify one.
Its a cloud one so I dont think issues on that end. I have seen this with very old versions of the system.activities giving bad error messages, but I am talking about version from like 2020 versions. I assume you are a newer package?
If you remove the folder path of IT and try to set the ambient folder on that bar on the bottom to ‘IT’ does it work?
Thanks for the information, i have removed personal info.
so i have done what you suggest and assigned the ambient folder to “IT” and removed the “IT” from the get activity which works.
but when i re-add the IT folder as a variable string = “IT” it doesnt work
but this could be an issue as we have custom acitivities that use a folder variable.
i am sure that this hasn’t been the case in the past?
Are you selecting the IT folder from the dropdown here?
The behaviour is suggesting strange things are happening trying to read the folder. Does it happen with other folders? Might be a hidden trailing space or something?
These are the usecases for GET ASSET activity
Get Asset: Status code: 400 (Bad Request). Orchestrator response:
An organization unit is required for this action. Error code: 1101
Sometimes Studio only pretends to accept a variable.
Especially with the “Get Asset” it is crucial to click on ‘Use variable’ before you enter the variable’s name.
for the error ..currently can you try to change the system activities package version …and then run ..this confirms if the version of activities you are using are having any issues
cheers
