Reading excel variable excel files

Open the downloaded excel file here is what I found online, but don’t really understand the solution. I have the same purpose as the link mention above. Can someone explain it in a simpler way or something?

@poogy112 Hello! Remove simulate key if you have checked that option. And try using Enter key.
For Example: If the path of file where you are saving the excel file is save in a variable called ‘xyz’ then use type into: xyz+“[k(enter)]”
Remove the click activity which you might using to save the excel file.
