Read Range Activity

Hi Guys

The read range activity is reading dates as values instead of type Date. Is there any way of fixing this?

Use predefined datatable
Or
Use csv

How do you do that? Do you create it before the read range? Can I just ask this. Is there a setting you can enable to fix it?

You can create one template file with predefined columns and write that data into it. And then read the data from Excel file and check it how its coming.

Read "date" type in excel turns out "datetime" type

dear all, here i met a problem: in an excel, i have a column with the date shows like"2017/5/10" and its data type in excel is “date”, but when i read the column with uipath and using write line to show it, it becomes another type:“05/10/2017 00:00:00”, but what i need is “2017/5/10” to make a judgement of the date, does anybody know why it became this and how to transfer the date?many thanks.
