Read PDF Question

Hi,

I have mixed PDF files, some are native and some are scanned images. Is there a way UiPath activity tell the file is scanned or not so it can use “ReadPDFtext” or “READPDFwithOCR”. If I use ReadPDFWithOCR for all files, i am not getting output correctly for native files.

HI,

How about the following step?

  1. Use ReadPDFext activity.
  2. Then check its result is empty or not.(Or check if there is target word etc.)
  3. If it’s empty or no target word exists, use ReadPDFWithOCR
