Read Excel Sheet using Excel application scope activity

I’m not able to read excel sheet.Though i have installed excel,I’m getting an error saying make sure excel is installed.

Did we try with Workbook activities
That is search as workbook in activity panel and under that package we can use the same set of activities that we have in excel package as well

This won’t show any error even though excel is not installed
