While variable names can be copied from the original project to another project, the variable annotations cannot be copied.
I would be helpful for me if variable annotations to be copied together with variables.

That’s correct — when copying variables only the names and types go along, annotations don’t. The only way to keep them is by copying the whole workflow (XAML) where they’re declared.
I’d suggest posting it in the Ideas Forum
so the product team can take it into account.
