PiP mode not working

Hello! I’m having an issue with the Picture-in-Picture mode, it was working completely normal but it just started to fail. I did execute the “.\UiRobot.exe PiP --enable” on PowerShell and CMD, on the right path, both on admin mode, but it didn’t worked. I’ll include a screenshot of the error and the log.
This is happening both on Studio and Assistant. I tried running them as admin too.

Hi

I believe this is due to memory issue

Check the CPU memory consumption from task manager. As per document - It should have minimum 8 GB Free and recommended is 12 GB

Studio - Hardware and Software Requirements

To confirm this issue - Start → event viewer → Windows Log → Application

Check the error details after performing PIP. To solve - You can check with your IT local to increase RAM or close all applications which consume the memory before running via PIP

One more solution you could try is to switch the PIP mode to Desktop from project settings. It consume less memory compared to session. But do have certain pros and cons. Mainly hardware events wont work and unable to take screenshots

Check the license you have on the machine. As per error, it’s saying “No license exist for this installation” it indicates your user id don’t have the required license.

To debug follow these steps: In UiPath Studio/StudioX > Debug tab, select the Picture in Picture option, then run your process

Hi!
Thanks for the help. But i tried running it with enough memory, and it still didn’t worked. It used to work just fine, so i’m pretty sure it’s not a memory issue. And about the Desktop mode, it starts, but due to the limitations of this mode, it does not run the workflow.

Are you using StudioX or Studio??

You want to run attended or unattended PIP ? Also could you please share the screenshot of Task Manager Performance Tab

I’m using Studio
I want to run it on attended PiP
Even tho i don’t have 8gb of available memory, it used to work normally, just how my notebook is right now

Did you tried this step as well ??

See what is the details coming in the error. Check for couple of errors below as well where it is mentioned as PIP error
