Orchestrator installation on premise fails gives an error pop up- system exception: migration failed

I am following the installation guidelines for orchestrator installation on standalone While installing it I get the below error

System.Exception: Migration failed: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The target principal name is incorrect.)
Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The target principal name is incorrect.)

It also gives the error
ClientconnectioID:xxxxx
Error -2146893022

at what step are you getting this issue

as I see you are installing but migration is triggered is there somethign that you are doing extra or is the scenario not explained correctly

generally a common fix is given here

Not doing anything extra just following the guidelines for installation.
When I configure orchestrator windows installer, I provide all the details and when it progress towards installation, it gives the error.

I believe by change you gave upgrade option check on that

alternately if you see any connection strings check the connection strill to allow certificate and proper creds
