I have solved by this method in the chrome, may be useful.
Hi Ravi
Can you let us know how to configure 32 bit IE to uipath
IE automation works (usually) out of the box, no config needed. Sometimes it may happen, due to various environment security issues, that additional configuration must be done in IE
Thanks for reply.
Which additional configuration.
I tried both regs r 32.exe oleacc.dll and enable scripting settings in security tab of IE.
it depends on the environment, its not a one way, its try and test
Hi all,
since a Windows 10 update yesterday my workflow with an IE (version 11.48.17134.0) ist broken. Error is like described in the thread title. Already tried adding oleacc.dll and checked security settings, however, still not working. Is anybody able to help?
Thanks in advance,
Christian
So you are getting this error right after starting a simple Open browser activity on IE?
What Studio version are you using?
Hi Gabriel,
actually the Open browser activity does work, but whatever action I take after that (e.g. navigate to, get an attribute or whateever) I get the above mentioned error. The workflow worked for some weeks already and nothing changed, so thats a bit odd. The only thing I know changed is the windows 10 version…
Regarding the Studio version: it is 2018.1.0
Thanks
Christian
Hello guys,
I am having the same trouble, Two weeks ago the process was working fine.
Troubleshouting procedure did not solve it.
It makes no sense for me to add all the websites to the trusted list.
I have 2018.1.1 studio.
Actually I can confirm now that this has something to do with the latest Windows 10 update. As soon as I reverted back to the previous version, all problems with IE were gone, and the workflow worked again as expected.
Problem is, the update cannot be avoided for too long, so it would be awesome to have some input what the root cause may be and/or how to prevent it…
this is the version that i ve tested with and i don`t have any issues at all
windows10x64. i think we may need to search deeper for the root cause as your IE version looks a little different
ok, now i have the same version, i was missing an update it seems, and still working fine for me.
can i try your workflow please?
i am full administrator on my machine, what`s your user type?
I just do an Open Brawser with www.google.com. And it fails.
I just updated to lastest version of the studio 2018.1.4, and that did not fix it
I can bet some security settings messed it up
When I checked Do not use recommended settings, it works fine.
ps: I needed to revert few windows updates
Mine is still not working even after I updated to 2018.1.4
Was working fine last week, but now I’m having the same issue. Have been trying to troubleshoot it most of this morning with some of the suggestions. Using studio version2018.2.3 and IE11.1155 on Windows 10
I am also facing the same issue in VDI. I have restarted the vdi and enabled scripting. Using Licensed Uipath studio. Please guide.
Can you tell me:
- exact windows version
- exact studio and IE version (with screenshot)
- what activity is failing with that error? Is it happening all the time?
