Only Desktop Folder Visible When Using Browse For Folder Activity

Why is only the Desktop folder visible when using the Browse For Folder activity?

Issue:

When using the Browse For Folder activity, the dialog box only shows the Desktop folder, but no other folders are visible.

Resolution:

  1. Check to see if the Desktop folder is synced with One Drive
  2. If the desktop folder is synced with OneDrive, one potential workaround is to stop syncing the Desktop folder with OneDrive.

Note: Take precautions to backup all files before proceeding as disabling OneDrive could cause folders/ files to unintentionally be removed from the local machine. Copying the folders/files to a different location is a precaution to avoid having to download them again from OneDrive.
