Native Citrix Automation using UI path

Hi All,

I am working on a POC where I want to automate a Desktop app on my VDI which I connect to using citrix.

I am aware of image recognition route but that has its own limitations and hence UI path has come with Native citrix automation.

However when I try to install I am getting below error.

Error #14: Could Not Read Citrix Registry Key: ‘SOFTWARE\Citrix\Install\ICA Client’ value: ‘InstallFolder’

I checked for this on the UI path forum and to resolve it I installed Citrix Workspace but I am still getting the same error.

I also checked for the installation prerequisites and it says that I need to have XenApp and XenDesktop version greater than or equal to 7.

And I am not sure if I am getting error due to the XenAPP and XenDesktop versions as I am not sure how to check for the versions. Also I do not have these apps installed on my local, I connect to my VDI by logging into Citrix Receiver and there I have a dedicated desktop provided by my client

Let me know your thoughts on this as to what could be causing this error and how to resolve it.
