This process is to port customers from other network to the organization’s network seamlessly with less manual work & quick processing.

It involves the below,

  • Proof Docs Uploading
  • Assigning a new SIM to the Existing number
  • Enabling Network Configuration
  • Assigning Package & Add-ons

The telecom firm was successfully able to port an average of 3000 customers a month with a success rate of 95% saving around 25mins per transaction with a huge positive impact on the Customer Service & ROI.

Thank you for sharing this.

In my opinion, this is one of the good cases reported here in the community. Such a process is here to stay as each provider will try to retain their customers while having to maintain proprietary a process ( each provider may use different applications) to allow porting of numbers to the other providers.

In short, a case which can be reused by other telecom providers. Porting of a number is still a hassle and automating the process to provide better customer service is the only way ahead.
