Missing core activities (close application)

I wanted to use Close Application activity.
It’s listed as part of core activities

As per this article

Core activities were split up between System and UI Automation packages.
I have both (UiPath.System.Activities version 24.3.0 and UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities version 23.10.11) but I can’t find Close Application activity.

Can anyone help me. What package am I missing?

I’m using Studio 2023.10.3 Enterprise

@mconcepcion

Close application is a classic activity…

In modern activities in use application/browser you have options in properties to select if you want to close or not

Ah. Okay. I got it. I guess I was confused since it shows on the page that it was updated April 3rd so I thought that’s the latest method for closing applications.

But you’re correct, closing it with Use application properties works.

Hey @mconcepcion

You can find Close Application after enabling Classic Option in filter section.

Ah, sneaky. Thank you.

Just for the record, is there any reason why those are hidden? Does UI Path plan to deprecate them in the future?

Starting with Studio 2024.4 → The modern design experience will be the only design experience available for new projects. UI Automation and Excel classic activities will still be available under the Classic category in the Activities panel or the Add activity search bar.

Reference: Overview - Deprecation timeline

Hint: If something is Deprecated, it will be removed completely in a future version, but it will be replaced with a new solution.
