Missing "Available" filter in Activities panel

Hi @UiPath_Community,

We are not able to find “Available” filter under Activities panel in studio v 2023.10.5.

We tried by enabling/disabling modern/classic experience as well, but no luck.

Hi @sonaliaggarwal47 ,

Do you have the highlighted option enabled in Studio Settings ?

If this is enabled or not the solution, could you please share the screenshot of the Filter ?

Hi @supermanPunch,

Yes this is enabled already.

I have also attached the screenshot in my above post.

@sonaliaggarwal47 ,

I did try now by disabling it and then checking the Filter, it did remove it. Then checked again by enabling it, but it did not list the Available filter. So I restarted the Studio and it seemed to work and the “Available” option was added again.

So was a Studio restart checked ? And the version I am using is 2024.10.6.

@supermanPunch,

When I opened the studio, this option was enabled by default for me. I never enabled it. But i can still give a restart and check as I did enable/disable modern design experience few times.

@sonaliaggarwal47,

Try resetting the studio settings once.

@ashokkarale,

No difference observed after reset.

Hi @supermanPunch,

We have 2 versions available to us right now.

Studio v 2023.10.5 → we are able to see “Available” only on few machines, rest of the machines it is not at all shown.

  1. We have tried the options you suggested to try still no luck.
  2. Also, compared the project setting and studio settings on both the machines, no difference found.
    3)Also, tried to disable ‘Show options available to install’ on the machine “Available” is showing, I can confirm behavior is as you reported. Available vanished when disabled, but shows up again when enabled and restarted.
  3. Also tried “Reset settings”, no difference observed.

Studio v 2024.10.6 → not at all visible.

@sonaliaggarwal47 ,

This does look like a peculiar case. Are all machines connected to the same tenant or cloud or is it an On-Premise setup ?

Maybe its worthwhile to convert this post as a feedback to the UiPath Product team.

@supermanPunch @ashokkarale

Thank you for your help.

Below are the findings after performing further tests in our different machines and environments.

  1. Sign-in using Assistant is a must(if connected using any other connection type than service url) to be able to see “Available” filter in Activities panel whether it is an on-prem version or cloud one.
  2. Even if UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities package is manually installed in a studio, no activities show up for Integration services unless you are signed in.
  3. Even though you are signed in and can see “Available” filter and downloaded the above said package in an on-prem version, no integrations service activities would be shown to you as you are not eligible for same.
