Machine Learning Extractor Trainer does not show field mapping drop-downs in Document Understanding

I’m working on a Purchase Order extraction project in UiPath Document Understanding.

  • I created a taxonomy in UiPath (Taxonomy Manager).
  • I have a labeled dataset in AI Center (using Data Manager).
  • In the Machine Learning Extractor, everything works fine — I can see the drop-down lists and map each taxonomy field to the schema fields in my dataset.

But the issue is:
When I open the Machine Learning Extractor Trainer, I don’t see any drop-downs to map the taxonomy fields with the fields from my labeled dataset. The dataset is correctly connected, and the project name and dataset name are both valid. Still, the field mapping options are not available.

I suspect this might be related to a mismatch between the taxonomy Fields and the schema used in my labeled dataset, but I’m not sure because the Extractor itself shows the drop-downs just fine.

Question:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Why does the Machine Learning Extractor Trainer not show the field mapping drop-downs, even though the Extractor does?
:backhand_index_pointing_right: How can I align my taxonomy and dataset schema so that the Trainer recognizes the fields without having to relabel my documents from scratch?

Also to verify try to change the package versions and check..

Also its work checking if its happening only for this or all?

Are you on automation suite? Because its getting slowly deprecated in latest versions of cloud and ixp would be the way
