Looking for UiPath Users' Experiences for RPA Software Comparison

I am currently working on a research paper where I am comparing various RPA software solutions from leading providers. To gain deeper insights into the practical use of these tools, I am looking to connect with active users who are implementing UiPath in their daily work.

I have prepared a few questions that won’t take up too much of your time, and I would greatly appreciate your support. If you’re interested, could you please answer the following questions based on your own experiences? Your responses would be very helpful to me!

Topic 1 – Technical Support:

  1. How reliable and stable do you find the automation with Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or UiPath? What experiences have you had with the support provided by the vendor, particularly when dealing with errors or uncertainties?
  2. What forms of technical support does the RPA vendor offer? How would you evaluate the quality of this support in terms of accessibility, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate solutions clearly and professionally?
  3. What experiences have you had with the maintenance and support costs of the RPA software? Do you think these costs are reasonable?
  4. How important is the RPA community in your daily work? Do you use forums for problem-solving? If so, how would you rate the accessibility and engagement of the community?

Topic 2 – Scope of Use:

  1. Have you implemented RPA in a specific area, or has its use been extended to multiple departments or processes?
  2. Are there any limitations in the scope of use? In which areas do you encounter technical or organizational challenges?
  3. Do you experience the RPA software as flexible and universally applicable, or do you see it as more tailored to specific use cases? If the latter, in which areas does it work particularly well, and where do you encounter limitations?

Topic 3 – Training and Education Offers:

  1. Are there sufficient training and educational offerings for the RPA software? How would you evaluate their content, scope, and cost – are they appropriate and practical?
  2. How accessible are the training materials? Can they be easily integrated into your daily work routine?
  3. How quickly can new users become productive with the RPA solution? Is extensive onboarding or participation in training required?

Topic 4 – Maintenance, Updates & Long-term System Stability:

  1. What is the regular maintenance effort required for the bots?
  2. Are regular updates released to continuously adapt the software to current technological developments and requirements?
  3. How does the vendor support you with maintenance and updates?
  4. Can maintenance work and updates be integrated into the daily work routine without causing disruptions, or do they lead to operational downtime? If there is downtime, how do you perceive it? Are the interruptions longer than expected or within a reasonable timeframe?
  5. Is there clear communication from the vendor regarding planned maintenance work or updates?
