Login with AD user

We enter the orchestrator through domain authorization with Active Directory.
If I enter the domain user and password, then Orchestrator Manager has an error: “Unable to get access token due to failed authentication”.
what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

If it is through AD, you cannot connect with user & password. You should use Windows connection. This option is for the accounts created inside Orchestrator (not your company’s ones).

Orchestrator Manager is using the /api/Account/Authenticate endpoint to log into Orchestrator, which is not able to handle Azure AD authentication.
Could you maybe ask your admin or CoE to directly create an Orchestrator user (one not in AD) so that you can configure a password for built-in authentication with it?
