Use Case Description

Built the bot for scrapping the details (Name, email, phone no., experience, previous organization, Role applied for, etc) of an applicants applying for different roles in the organization via different vendors (LinkedIn, Naukri and Hirist) and consolidate those details into single excel file.

Following are the steps performed by the bot
1). Bot will read the config file and input file having bot credentials and vendors name in
the respective file.
2). Bot will check the Vendor Name. If the Vendor name is “Hirist” the bot will use IMAP
server to get the mails (as Hirist mails which will be getting is in unstructured format)
based on certain business rules, scrape the data for each mails and at last write those
details in output file.
3). If Vendor name is other than “Hirist” the bot will open the Gmail with the credentials
and filter the mails based on the business rules. Once the related mails appears the
bot will start scraping the data and add that data into output excel.
4). The execution will continue till there won’t be any vendor’s process remaining to get
processed.
5). At the end of the execution the bot will sent the email related to successful run of the
bot along with the output file containing the details of an applicants consolidated into
single excel file.

The Bot is scheduled daily and weekly which help HR to keep the track of applicants also saves the time and hard work of maintaining the details of the applicant. This will also increase the efficiency of the recruitment process.
