AI Challenge - AI Based Resume Screening
Use Case Description
Recruitments, performance management, employee engagement, and internal activities are just a few of the many responsibilities managed by the human resource (HR) departments. They require an ample amount of time and effort to be put into these tasks to handle them well and effectively. AI has the ability to greatly enhance HR operations, making them more productive and successful.
The recruitment process can be time-consuming and resource-intensive, involving tasks such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and more. In this use case, we can use the AI and RPA capabilities of UiPath to automate the resume screening process to provide useful insights on the applicants to speed up the process of selection.
The Use Case would be as follows:
Read resumes sent through a portal or mail.
Pass them through the AI Model to extract useful information like the relevant fields worked on.
Use summarizer models to summarize the entire resume into small easy to read components.
Use Semantic Similarity model to ascertain a similarity between the requirements and resume.
Combine all the above gathered information and either store or send to the HR team for further processing.
