Issue while working on SAP 7.5

Hello team,

Does anyone face issue working with SAP 7.5 ? In my organization, SAP is got updated from 7.4 to 7.5. Since then we are facing lot of issues for running the bots. All the deployed bots had to bring back to test environment; while testing we are facing very random errors at random places.

Thank you for reply. Let me know to do in such cases. In April 2020, SAP will get again upgraded to SAP 7.6. We are ready to wait but not sure whether this issue may occur.

It is not clear, what you have in your mind with “a lot of issues”. We (UiPath) did internal testing of UiPath for different SAP WinGUI version and we were able to prove, that there are no any known issues or limitation with any of versions.

The following versions of SAP WinGUI are supported by UiPath for Windows 7 and Windows 10, for both architecture types (32-bit and 64-bit). SAP Logon and SAP Logon Pad are supported on all versions.

  • SAP WinGUI 7.40
  • SAP WinGUI 7.50
  • SAP WinGUI 7.60

All available themes (such as Belize, Blue Crystal, or Corbu) can be used for SAP automation.

The bots are working very fine in 7.4 Version.
In 7.5, when Uipath interacts with the SAP, uipath gets crashed or it will throw random errors at random places. Sometimes selectors related issues or others such as member not found. You can see the screenshot attached. This error is also not static. If I will run the code again, it will throw another issue. I found 1 error where it was asking me uncheck SimulateType property in Type Into activity.

I would suggest to contact our technical support and prepare a detailed examples, where it has worked, and where it does not work anymore.

The best thing is to have something reproducible. Just “random” and “random” will not help to identify the issue.

To be honest do not understand the repost of the SAP issue with SAP GUI which is more than 1 year old?
