Is there a modern document understanding template for Studio?

Hi.
I want to create a new Document Understanding Bot. In the past I used the classic Document Understanding where the UiPath Template “Document Understanding Process” was nice to use, because it used an api key and the API URl to the model and also the taxonomy etc.

But with Document Modern, the activities you use changed and it’s not really compatible anymore, or am I missing something?

Is there a template for modern document understanding I missed? How do you do it?

I have latest Studio 2025.0.166 STS and my Model was created using Document Understanding - Modern.

I mean not migrating Document Understanding from classic to modern.

I already have my document understanding model in “Modern”.
The question is about the template in studio.

The template seems to work together with Document Understanding Classic, but not really compatible with modern?

I fixed it. Turns out if you want to use the modern Document Understanding - it’s this template and you have to use compatibility “Cross Platform” instead of Windows. Then it has the correct activities inside :slight_smile:

A bit confusing. I would rather have 2 seperate templates, one for classic and one for modern, but it is how it is I guess.

I’ve tried to get them to overhaul this template in light of the cross platform activities but didnt get very far, given the focus on Maestro in my opinion its now even more important to change these outdated templates, I’ll try again and maybe we’ll get a newer, lean one.
