I am trying to read a csv range from a sharepoint file with integration service activity, the account has access, the parameters are correct but i get this error

Probably. You can’t Read Range on a CSV. Although you may also have a permissions issue preventing the activity from even getting far enough to realize it isn’t an Excel file.
