I am using this attached activity which is a part of UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities package. I am using a prompt inside the activity to extract the invoice details. I have a sample of 6 invoices as “A” vendor invoices for different month. For 5 invoices I am able to extract the invoice data with 100% accuracy but for I particular invoice the activity is hallucinating. The file size of each invoice is similar within the range of (500KB - 650KB). The structure of the invoices are also same. What could be the possible reason for hallucination? Example:
In the invoice there it is written Contractor A has rate “B” and hours “C” but the activity will extract the Contractor A has rate “D” and hours “E”. My guess would be it is extracting the rate and hours value from previous lineitems in the invoice.
What is the file input type ? I had a similar issue with PDF’s. I originally thought the pdf had native text however when i passed it through an LLM which let me know that the PDF had images.
The input file types were .pdf
