How would we be charged for using communication mining

The docs stated that we would be charged for uploading the data, 1 AI unit for each comment, is that true?
Also is there any other charges that can be levied for communication mining as it is not too clear in the docs.

@Kavi_Varun

Please check this doc for more info…I guess this would help

hey anil,
yes I had seen this, My doubt is that are these the only charges we can expect from communication mining? as it is mostly only regarding uploading data and none for prediction or using the model.
Thanks

@Kavi_Varun

No these are the only charges…actually for communication mining it does not charge anything else

oh cool, so if we have a csv with 4000 files, it would cost 4000 AI units right?
Thanks for the clarification

@Kavi_Varun

Ideally if you are not repeating any lines because there is afailure or so…yes that would be the consumption

how about emails ? 1 AI unit each ?

An email is considered as a verbatim so, yes 1 AI unit each :slight_smile:

@Kavi_Varun if you are integrating with outlook exchange then you need to make sure that you have minimum 60k AI Units to start ingesting the emails.

Hello @Kavi_Varun,

There’s also a fee if you keep the messages/verbatims in dataset (bucket) for longer than 2 years - after that you will be charged 1 AI Unit for each message again. I would advise setting some reminder and then archive both reports (could be valuable for analytics purposes) and the messages themselves - if worth keeping.

You could also export whole dataset along with labels to CSV.

I would also advise caution when uploading with any method, but especially with CSV. If you get an error along the way, check the dataset in separate browser tab to check if messages has really been uploaded or not.

@tomasz.wierzbicki AI units are charged per verbatim in per data source or per dataset or per project ?

Hi,

I would say per verbatim per data source, because you can copy existing dataset and you’re not charged. Projects are mostly for organization / managing access rights.
