How to select a string from a drop down after using type into activity

I need to select a particular string from a drop down which has been shown after using type into activity.
i.e for example: if I type apple,then in drop down there is green apple and apple,
I need to select only apple…
When I use select item activity, it shows a message like can’t use select item in this case…
Can anyone help me?

Type your entire string using Type into activity and press enter key. Then use get text activity to get the text
