How to compare the past date with today date

Hi All,

Am trying to compare the dates with todays date. if its past dated then it has to type the current date and if uts the future date then it has to type the same value which we get.

If the date value is in 2018 then its working fine and if its contains 2019 then its not able to compare . Kindly help @arivu96 , @indra, @aksh1yadav, @vvaidya

Both the dates should be of datetime datatype in IF activity.
Please don’t convert them to string.
