How To Add KPIs To Questions During Customize Assessments

How to add KPIs to questions during Customize Assessments?

KPIs can be added to an Existing/custom question when the Question type is one of the following:

  1. Single Choice
  2. Multiple Choice
  3. Number
  4. Percentage
  5. Multiple Choice

The following Question Types cannot impact KPI since the answers are not quantifiable:

  1. Free Text
  2. Free Text with Formatting
  3. Date

The steps to add a KPI to an existing/custom question while customizing assessments is as follows.:

  1. For the existing question/custom question, check the setting 'Can Impact KPI'. This will populate the 'KPIs impacted' dropdown.

  1. Select a KPI from the 'KPIs Impacted' dropdown

  1. When a KPI is selected from the dropdown for a question, the KPI editor window opens as follows:

  1. Since the question can affect KPI, it needs to be added to the KPI questions list and the formula

  1. Adding the question variable to the formula:

  1. Once done, the KPI will be available in the KPIs impacted list.

Alternate Approach:
Another way of doing this is directly updating the KPI formula by adding the variable. The question will be added automatically.
