How to add KPIs to questions during Customize Assessments?
KPIs can be added to an Existing/custom question when the Question type is one of the following:
- Single Choice
- Multiple Choice
- Number
- Percentage
- Multiple Choice
The following Question Types cannot impact KPI since the answers are not quantifiable:
- Free Text
- Free Text with Formatting
- Date
The steps to add a KPI to an existing/custom question while customizing assessments:
- For the existing question/custom question, check the setting 'Can Impact KPI'. This will populate the 'KPIs impacted' dropdown.
- Select a KPI from the 'KPIs Impacted' dropdown:
- When a KPI is selected from the dropdown for a question, the KPI editor window opens as follows:
- Since the question can affect KPI, it needs to be added to the KPI questions list and the formula:
- Adding the question variable to the formula:
- Once done, the KPI will be available in the KPIs impacted list.
Alternate Approach:
Another way of doing this is directly updating the KPI formula by adding the variable. The question will be added automatically.
