How does UIPath persist data/state for long running processes?

Hi, I just have the community ed (no Orchestrator), and I was wondering how UIPath preserves state if my workflow runs for a long time. Does it just keep it in memory? Or should one use the Orchestrator for this? Thanks!

Hi Parnkur. For example, a workflow has to wait for a few hours for an email to arrive before proceeding to the next step.
