Good Evening! EveryOne

I want to read the excel sheet which creates on daily basis, how to read it dynamically as it changes dates. Please help me for this.

Thanks,
Mohd

Hi @mohammed_zain

here is an example.
In the excel application scope write
DateTime.Now.ToString(“yyyy.MM.dd”)+“yourfilename”+.xlsx"

Please adjust bracket as well as xlsx in case it is xls and yourfilename. You might also need to change the order depending on how your file name looks like.

cheers
Timo

OK I will Check

Thanks,
Mohd

Inside the date folder it will create Excel Sheet. I have to open the date folder and read the excel sheet one by one.

Thanks,
Mohd

ok. then instead of adding the date to your filename I understand the folder contains the todays date.

the principle is the same. datetime.now.tostring(“yyyy.MM.dd”)\yourfilename.xlsx

I have written like this in assign activity
datetime.now.tostring(“yyyy.MM.dd”)+“SO”+.xlsx" Throwing exceptions as end of expression expected.

Thanks,
Mohd

Hi @mohammed_zain

you have missed one double qoutes der before .xlsx
Your Statement :- datetime.now.tostring(“yyyy.MM.dd”)+“SO”+.xlsx"
Edited statement :- datetime.now.tostring(“yyyy.MM.dd”)+“SO”+".xlsx"

Hope this may help to solve your issue
