Getting error while connecting to FTP server

Hi everyone,

I am trying to FTP server using FTP scope activity but i am getting error as shown in SNAP.

Here i don’t have any local FTP server is it necessary to install internet information services(IIS) in our system to connect to FTP server. Instead of IIS they have given me WinSCP…

Please help… it is urgent requirement.

Can you please share FTP scope proprieties with us also if you try it from filezila or winscp you can connect to FTP server and browse the needed path ?

Hi @User_98,
I think there is an issue in connection to host or in username and password with considering that you already can connect to FTP server through another application like filezila or Winscap.
Note:
For making sure you create variable with name host and assign FTP IP and the same for username and password.

I have downloaded FluentFTP package then it was working fine. This UiPath.FTP.Activities package alone is not enough to connect to FTP server. We need to download the FluentFTP package also.

Now it is working…
