Hi,

There is no activity called Get cached value. Are you referring to Get from clipboard activity?

Its from Microsoft package, not UiPath dedicated activity.

Ok, this is a Microsoft activity so I will try to explain in a few words what I understood it does.

Let’s say you needed to store somewhere in the memory a variable type Array of strings called “myVar”. In Get cached value activity - Name field you give this variable as input. Then what the activity does it goes to cache memory and retrieves (Result field as output) the value of “myVar” variable that you have stores (it’s similar to what other activities do when they retrieve the value of a variable in Studio - Variables Panel).

Please correct me if I said something wrong (i did some research on msdn first but there may be some things i missed or misunderstood).
