I just completed the “Automation starter” course in UiPath, and i’m really excited to continue my learning journey. I’ve now learned the basics, but i’m not quite sure what the best next step would be.
Instead of just taking a random traning i asking the people in the forum that made the journey themself for some advice and tips on what courses that you would recommend that im learning.
If you want to become a developer, I would recommend Automation Developer Associate Training which covers the basics. There is also a certification you can take following the training. I started a role at my company with no prior experience and did this along with hands on training and development work.
There is also a professional certificate and training focusing on the REFramework which is essential once you are familiar with the basics.
If you can get real world experience, this would be best. However the below trainings should cover everything (supplementing with forum questions, youtube, and AI )
I’ve applied for a job that is a automation role at my company, but currently we are doing a reformation on the organisation and the recruiter said that people that might lose the job is going to get matched to the job I really want, so instead of just sitting and wait im grabbing as mutch knowledge as i can go be one of the top candidates.
It have also become some kind of hobby as i think its fun to learn automation instead of playing games.
Thanks alot, i will do both the Associate and the Professional training!
Regarding the professional Certificate is this something i can book/apply from UiPath’s site?
Reframework i understand is a key knowledge i need to focus on as i read ur comment, is this in the tranings “Associate” or Professional" or is it a seperate traning or where could i develop my knowledge of this?
Hey @SamUi Start learning by
Associate: Automation Developer Associate Training (v2023.10) Course | UiPath Academy
as @Gtzikas suggest so you get the better idea because directly jump into REFramework might be challanging as if you start now. Yes REFramework also cover in the Professional Training Course and also you get 2 project challanges .after finish these you can take the practice Test before going for the actual Certification.
I will start with the associate training, then do the professional training as both you and Gtzikas recommended.
I still wonder one thing, as i filled out a form in the associate training they asked if i had any coding knowledge, is this essential for automation within UiPath? If yes, what is the most compatible coding language with UiPath?
Thanks alot for the time you take to answer my questions, I appreciate it immensely!
No it not necessary to have a depth knowledge of coding. but yes you can learn vb language .it help you a lot when working with UiPath.
kindly close this as by mark this as solution if you are satisfied or no further question you want to ask.
cheers
I do not believe Associate covers this. You can always take some trainings in the professional path which cover it to give you an idea of how it works in parallel with the Associate training.
