Edge extension

I am running a process which uses Edge. It works fine but after some time it becomes unable to communicate with the extension:
“Could not communicate with the UiPath extension for browser ‘msedge.exe’. Please make sure the extension is installed and enabled.”

Yesterday it ran for several hours without the error occuring, but today it will only run for 3-15 minutes before it happens. Does anyone know what to do?

are you using an shortcuts…check if it is turning off the extension

also in attended also you are observing this?/

is there any settings that are being changed in process?

  1. Once again try installing the extension from studio and enable extendion in edge browser or check in the command prompt
  2. If not you can also use Microsoft Edge Web Driver which is an alternative for Extension

Ensure UiPath Extension is installed and up-to-date in Edge. If the issue persists, restart both Edge and UiPath Studio, or consider using the “Close Application” activity for Edge and reopening it periodically in your workflow.

→ Make sure that the UiPath extension for Microsoft Edge is installed on your computer. You can install the extension from UiPath Studio.
→ Make sure that the UiPath extension for Microsoft Edge is enabled in Microsoft Edge. You can enable the extension in Microsoft Edge settings.
->If the extension is crashing, you can try restarting Microsoft Edge or reinstalling the extension.
→ If you have any other extensions installed in Microsoft Edge, try disabling them to see if that resolves the issue.
→ If you are using UiPath Studio, make sure that the latest version of the software is installed.

  1. You can try reinstalling the edge extenstion by modifying UiPath setup file.
  2. Check in edge browser in extension is installed and enabled properly.
