Different between setting up a desktop orchestra or just using it

My client asked Is it possible to set up a desktop orchestra server in their own computer?

If yes, what is the different of it?

Because I saw the guildline, it mentions that how to install the orchestra and what is the requirement.

Orchestrator can be on-cloud which is the community/free version or on-premise which is enterprise/paid.
