What is the default UiPath Input method? Is it hardware or Simulate type? Also with modern, where do I set hardware input type?

@A_Learner It depends on your specific application. Please refer to the following link on UiPath Input Methods, which should help clarify your queries.
If you are automating on Browser, Chromium API will be your default input method.
It really depends on the specific application you are automating against. For example, a web based application the default could be the ChromiumAPI, but a desktop application might default to Hardware.
In either case, you can set the set input mode in several different ways.
The first way is on the Use Application/Browser Activity Level
The second way is on the activity itself (Click, Type Into, etc.)
