Data Manipulation with Strings in Studio feedback

I have just completed the Data Manipulation with Strings in Studio (v2024.10) lesson of the Automation Developer Associate Training learning path and I have some feedback.

First of all, thank you for great well-structured overview of the string manipulation methods! The course was easy to follow and the examples were well thought-out. However, I believe some of these examples are out of date.

For example, in the RegEx builder wizard video, the activity used was Matches, which can’t be found in the recent Studio Community version. Instead, the Find Matching Patterns activity appears to be something I should be using.

Additionally, in the Engage with the UiPath community section, the feedback link is for the RPA developer foundation training, which I’m not sure if it’s relevant here. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

Hi @Mykhailo_Yaremenko first of all congratulations.

Now The reason is that starting from recent Studio versions, the Matches activity has been renamed to Find Matching Patterns , and similarly Is Match is now called Is Text Matching —these updates reflect a naming refresh rather than deprecation, helping improve clarity in Studio’s activity library
