After upgrading UiPath Studio to v2021.10.x, libraries with compatibility 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' were published to On-Premises Orchestrator, but these libraries are not visible in the Orchestrator feed in 'Manage Packages' in Windows and Cross-Platform projects. When libraries with compatibility 'Windows-Legacy' are published, they can be accessed in Windows-legacy projects. How can 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' libraries be accessed in 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' projects in UiPath Studio v2021.10+?
Issue Description: After upgrading UiPath Studio to v2021.10.x, libraries with compatibility 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' were published to On-Premises Orchestrator, but these libraries are not visible in the Orchestrator feed in 'Manage Packages' in Windows and Cross-Platform projects. When libraries with compatibility 'Windows-Legacy' are published, they can be accessed in 'Windows-legacy' projects. How can 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' projects be accessed?
Cause and Resolution:
Support for Windows (.NET 5 with Windows support), or Cross-platform (.NET 5 with cross-platform support started with UiPath Studio v2021.10. Projects created in previous versions of UiPath Studio were Windows-Legacy (.NET Framework 4.6.1). Windows - Legacy and Windows libraries can only be installed in processes that have the same compatibility
The above issue is observed when the version of the On-Premises Orchestrator is lower than v2021.10.x i.e. v2021.4.x or v2020.10.x or v2020.4.x or v2019.10.x. These versions of On-Premises Orchestrator do not support 'Windows' and 'Cross-Platform' projects and libraries. Studio/Robot and On-Premises Orchestrator need to be v2021.10+ to build and execute Windows and Cross-platform libraries and projects.
Resolution:
The recommended solution is upgrading On-Premises Orchestrator to v2021.10 and above to execute Windows and Cross-Platform jobs and migrating Windows-Legacy projects to Windows
However, in case the On-Premises Orchestrator cannot be upgraded, then only Windows-Legacy projects and libraries should be created.
